Friends with founding broker, Larry Matthews, Michael recognized Larry’s love for Hants County and the people that called it home. Like Larry, he hopes to use his new career to foster growth and opportunity for East Hants and its residents. This shared vision and values, made Michael a natural fit with our company, whose namesake is a testament to the community he calls home.
A lifelong resident of Gore, Michael grew up on an eighth-generation family farm with his parents Debbie and Barron and three brothers. Growing up, Michael was involved in numerous community sports, 4H Clubs, The East Hants Chamber of Commerce and most recently, campaigned in Provincialpolitics. He attended Hants North Rural High before going on to complete a Bachelors of Science in Agricultural Business at Dalhousie University and completed his Masters of Business Administration at St. Mary’s University.
His love of people and business resulted in numerous sales positions where his success was ensured, but his love of Hants County meant it was only a matter of time before it became the driving force behind a new and exciting career in real estate sales.
Michael is looking forward to continuing the vision of growth and prosperity for East Hants and its residents, and looks forward to assisting you with all your property endeavors.
